The third concert of our 25th Anniversary season is an all-Czech program.  (Might this be an indication of things to come?  Possibly.   A Czech-themed Festival is one of the ideas we’re kicking around for next season.)  Jill Olson Moser and Dina Michelson Namer will open this concert with a charming, rarely-performed sonata from the mostly-forgotten Josef Antonín Štepán.  Following this will be the Cello Sonata #2 by Martinu, performed by Richard Bock and William Eddins.  Bock & Eddins wowed our audience when they performed this sonata here back in 2011.  Strangely, Mr. Bock has no recollection of this performance, so we decided we should have a rematch!  The concert will close with the G minor Piano Trio of Dvorák.  Not performed nearly as often as the F minor and Dumky Trios, this Romantic gem deserves to be heard more frequently.
